Phytosanitary Control Rising

Regarding the approval by the UE of COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING DECISION (EU) 2018/1137 of 10th August 2018 it has been strengthen the control over the wooden packaging for the merchandises coming from Belarus and China. This situation will increase the phytosanitary control over some goods from China.  Even you attach the certificates for the right packaging it will not mean that you are free to be inspected. Controls must be made in the EU entry point.

This situation is causing delays in the unloading and pick-ups of container, that sometimes are producing an extra cost for warehouse storages and/or demurrages and port storages at the terminal.
