IMO 2020 REGULATIONS

From 1st January 2020 will be applicable the new regulation IMO 2020. This consists in the reduction of the Sulphur emissions produced by the fuel of the vessels.

This regulation is a very important challenge for the shipping industry, that are implementing different systems to reduce their vessel’s Sulphur emissions. Consequently, they will apply a new surcharge due to this new regulation.

We hope that this action can help to enhance the environment and that reduction of the Sulphur emissions improves the air quality and reduces the pollution of the oceans.
